Mark is the Lead Pastor of Oaktree Anglican and is very much looking forward to this new season ahead. God builds the church and it is a joy to partner with the Lord Jesus in this work.
Mark and Erin Juers have three children: Reuben, Emmy, and Lydia. They love the Lord Jesus and are super excited about what God is up to in Caulfield, Elsternwick and beyond. Mark and Erin have been actively involved in ministry together since before they were married and have dedicated their lives to serving alongside each other.
Mark trained at Ridley College, was ordained in 2016, and comes with a broad range of experiences from St Hilary’s Kew as well as starting a new congregation at St Alfred’s Blackburn Nth before that. He enjoys any opportunity for deep reflection and balances this with a joy for outdoor activity. If it involves salt water he is there!
Karen joined the Oaktree Community as the Generations Pastor on 7th March 2021. She has spent the past 10 years working in a number of churches across Melbourne, focusing on ministry to young people and their families. Karen is passionate about seeing people of all generations grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus, and loves to help different generations serve Jesus together.
Karen loves all things people, and hot drinks, and has two cats who dislike both those things, but in spite of that Karen, Bertie and Mavis very much enjoy having Oaktree as their home.
