WELCOME TO OUR ONLINE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

  • Oaktree Online, 10:30am – 12.00pm Sundays

  • 1 November 2020

  • Colossians: Living for Jesus in the Rub of Life

  • Bible Reading: Colossians 3:18–4:1

18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.

20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is your acceptable duty in the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, or they may lose heart. 22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything, not only while being watched and in order to please them, but wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord. 23 Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, 24 since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for whatever wrong has been done, and there is no partiality. 4 1 Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, for you know that you also have a Master in heaven.

Online Giving Options

As worshippers of the living God, a key aspect of worship is reflecting His generous heart. There will be temptations to drop off in our giving during this period when we are not meeting in person. Remember what an amazingly powerful declaration to the spiritual world it is for all of us to remain at peace, united and outward looking, especially in these challenging times.

It is critical that we maintain our ministry capabilities during this season. We encourage all of our church family to continue with your generous tithes and offerings. If your financial circumstances change, we know you’ll seek the Lord’s guidance. For those who are able, please consider giving to the Fellowship Fund, over and above your normal tithes and offerings. We as a parish, as has been our practice, want to be able to stand practically with those of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are experiencing material need.
