WELCOME TO OUR ONLINE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

  • Oaktree Online, 10:30am – 12.00pm Sundays

  • 4 October 2020

  • Colossians: Christus Victor - Triumph

  • Bible Reading: Colossians 2: 11-15

11 In Him also you were circumcised with a spiritual circumcision, by putting off the body of the flesh in the circumcision of Christ; 12 when you were buried with Him in baptism, you were also raised with Him through faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And when you were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with Him, when He forgave us all our trespasses, 14 erasing the record that stood against us with its legal demands. He set this aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it.

Online Giving Options

As worshippers of the living God, a key aspect of worship is reflecting His generous heart. There will be temptations to drop off in our giving during this period when we are not meeting in person. Remember what an amazingly powerful declaration to the spiritual world it is for all of us to remain at peace, united and outward looking, especially in these challenging times.

It is critical that we maintain our ministry capabilities during this season. We encourage all of our church family to continue with your generous tithes and offerings. If your financial circumstances change, we know you’ll seek the Lord’s guidance. For those who are able, please consider giving to the Fellowship Fund, over and above your normal tithes and offerings. We as a parish, as has been our practice, want to be able to stand practically with those of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are experiencing material need.
