WELCOME TO OUR ONLINE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE

  • Oaktree Online, 10:30am – 12.00pm Sundays

  • 10 January 2021

  • Blessed to be a blessing: Dead branches and luscious vines

  • Bible Reading: John 15: 1–8

1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinegrower. 2 He removes every branch in Me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit He prunes to make it bear more fruit. 3 You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in Me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from Me you can do nothing. 6 Whoever does not abide in Me is thrown away like a branch and withers; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become My disciples.

Online Giving Options

As worshippers of the living God, a key aspect of worship is reflecting His generous heart. There will be temptations to drop off in our giving during this period when we are not meeting in person. Remember what an amazingly powerful declaration to the spiritual world it is for all of us to remain at peace, united and outward looking, especially in these challenging times.

It is critical that we maintain our ministry capabilities during this season. We encourage all of our church family to continue with your generous tithes and offerings. If your financial circumstances change, we know you’ll seek the Lord’s guidance. For those who are able, please consider giving to the Fellowship Fund, over and above your normal tithes and offerings. We as a parish, as has been our practice, want to be able to stand practically with those of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are experiencing material need.
