SERMONS & DEVOTIONS

Selected sermons from Oaktree services are available to listen to online or to download. Click the drop-down menus below to browse by series or by speaker.

Our church leaders compose weekly study notes that include questions designed to provoke deeper insight into the Bible readings. These study notes are excellent conversation starters for those in Oaktree Connect Groups, and they are also handy for individuals for personal devotions.

Rod McArdle - March 8, 2020

Word & Spirit: Burning Hearts for Revival - Acts 4:8-31 (Rod McArdle)

Word & Spirit (2020)

From Series: "Word & Spirit (2020)"

Spontaneous spiritual combustion – that’s what occurs when the Word of God and the Holy Spirit come together. It is what happened in the explosive growth of the early Church, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. But sadly, in church history, and in our times, there is often an effective ‘divorce’ between Word and Spirit. In this three-week series we’ll be encouraged to continue letting the Word of God dwell richly amongst us, and to actively and eagerly desire the conscious, manifest presence of the Spirit – in all the spheres of our lives.
