Spontaneous spiritual combustion – that’s what occurs when the Word of God and the Holy Spirit come together. It is what happened in the explosive growth of the early Church, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. But sadly, in church history, and in our times, there is often an effective ‘divorce’ between Word and Spirit. In this three-week series we’ll be encouraged to continue letting the Word of God dwell richly amongst us, and to actively and eagerly desire the conscious, manifest presence of the Spirit – in all the spheres of our lives.
